Luvuyo Rani, MD of Silulo Ulutho, was the speaker at the first Entrepreneurial Master Class held on 17 September 2010. The aim of these sessions is to provide emerging entrepreneurs who have existing businesses with access to some of the knowledge and experience gained by successful, established entrepreneurs in an informal and approachable setting. The insight gained from someone who has walked the hard road of establishing a successful and sustainable business can be invaluable to someone setting out on the journey.

Luvuyo spoke with great passion and honesty about his humble upbringing and the exciting, but difficult journey to grow his business.  In seven years he progressed from selling refurbished PCs out of his car boot to running the largest computer training company in the Cape Town townships (with 16 centres, 70 employees and a turnover last year of R4,2m).

The 14 participants were vocal in their gratitude of having had the opportunity to hear this inspirational story by a master storyteller.
