Having seen thousands of clients walk through the doors of the Joburg branch over the past 10 years, it became apparent that it was necessary to change and develop in order to meet the growing demand for more targeted services for businesses which have been operating for longer than 18 months.
After a lot of research and strategic planning, The Business Place Joburg underwent a refurbishment and now operates from two separate floors.
The ground floor houses a young and energetic team that is there to service those clients who have business ideas through to stable business start-ups. The core Business Place service offering is on tap here, and clients can access one-on-one consultations, the internet, research files, and attend many workshops and training sessions.

The first floor is now fully dedicated to existing businesses. Staffed by well qualified individuals with over 40 years business experience between them, clients can look forward to having someone diagnose their business needs and help them apply tools to develop and grow their business.

- Training on a range of topics designed for existing businesses.
- Frequent networking and breakfast seminars, to assist with maintaining and improving relevant industry knowledge.
